A Huge Change

Have you ever had a myriad amount of changes happen in your life due to a suddenly occurring event? Most often, the thoughts in a human being are the key to having a sudden change. In the stories, “A Christmas Carol: Scrooge and Marley”, “At the Crossroads” and “Profile: Malala Yousafzai” the characters Scrooge, Nick Kleckner and Malala Yousafzai undergo a major change in their lives as a result of a sudden event.

In the play “A Christmas Carol: Scrooge and Marley”, the character of Scrooge undergoes a change from a cruel miser to a joyful, generous individual as a result of visits from 3 spirits. The ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future show Scrooge events from his life that cause him to realize that making changes in his life will positively affect him and others around him. “Spirit! Hear me! I am not the man I once was. I will not be the man I would have been but for this intercourse. Why show me this, if I am past all hope?” (My Perspective, Page 284) As a result, Scrooge realized that being kind to his friends, family and coworkers is the key to having a meaningful life.

In the story “At the Crossroads”, Nick Kleckner undergoes a change from a man who has everything to a man who doesn’t want anything as a result of a long walking trip. Nick Kleckner went on a 2,500-mile walking trip with almost nothing with him to see what it’s like. “I felt a lot of pressure, stress, and anxiety and decided to get out.” (“At the Crossroads”, Page 1) As a result, Nick Kleckner found a purpose in his life and realized that many people are generous as well.

In the story “Profile: Malala Yousafzai”, the character of Malala undergoes a change from a shy girl to a brave, determined girl as a result of standing up for what she believes in. Malala lives in Pakistan, where girls can’t have a good education. But, Malala stood up for what she believed in, therefore, she got shot by soldiers but continued to believe in what she wanted. “The diary reported her desire to remain in education and for girls to have a chance to be educated.” (“Profile: Malala Yousafzai”, page 1) As a result, Malala realized that she couldn’t be scared anymore to stand up for what’s right, and she became famous while others followed her belief.

In conclusion, anyone’s life can change from a sudden occurring event that happens in their life. The experience of an important event brings the change of the thoughts of a character. Someday, you will find that certain challenge in your life.

My Top 3 Recommended Places to Visit in Ohio

Here are three places that I believe you should visit sometime in Ohio. Please leave a comment down below if you have seen any of the places that I have recommended.

  • My first recommended place to visit in Ohio is Maid Rite. Made Right started in the 1920’s, when Fred Angell worked really hard to make the perfect combination of meat and spices. Then, a delivery man tasted Fred’s sandwich creation and said, “This sandwich is made right!” Fred was a good sandwich maker, but not much of a speller. Maid Rite has ben serving customers for over 91 years. This information is from maid-rite.org.

  • My next recommendation for a place to visit is Garst Museum. Garst museum was donated to the Dark County Historical Society in 1946. It has a lot of roots from the American experience. It contains around 300,000 artifacts in 35,000 square feet of exhibit. A long time ago, it served as an inn, with six building wing additions. This information was found at garstmuseum.org

  • My last recommendation for you is to visit is Scene 75. Scene 75 features an 150-seat restaurant, two full service bars, a racing place with two electric go-kart tracks, the largest ticket redeemer and arcade in Dayton and a large, multi-level laser tag. Jonah Sandler created Scene 75, but people thought that it would never be a success. It was ideas in 2009,and got made on July,2012. It has been a hit ever since. People call it the most exciting facility in Dayton, Ohio.

Noah’s Favorite Things Ever

Hello, today I am going to tell you about my favorite thing in the world, which is a pug.

Here is some cool, fun facts about pugs. Pugs are brachycephalic, which means that their heads are broad but short, which gives them the appearance of a squished face. Back in the 16th century, Prince Williams of Orange was saved by a pug! This may sound unbelievable, but he was about to get ambushed by Spanish troops, when his pug barked and alerted him of the danger. Also, pugs are always known to catch colds because of their short noses. Pugs are called a “Grumble” in a group. A pug can run up to 2-5 miles per hour. I don’t know why, but in Germany, pugs were called mops. Why did Germans call them mops? In China, pugs were bred to sit on the laps of Chinese emperors. Did you know that pugs sleep at an average of 14 hours a day? That’s insane! Pugs are thought to be around a long time ago. People say that pugs have been around since 400 BC. That’s really cool! There is the facts that I have learned about pugs. Make sure to comment down below if you want to add some new information that I have not added.

Poem About Pugs

Pugs are cool, but they really like to drool.

They like to cuddle, but always make puddles.

They like to play, and some can be gray.

They are very grumpy, and are lumpy.

They like to paw with their very sharp claws.

Pugs always snore and ruin your floors.

Have you ever had a Pug? If not I encourage you to give one a hug.

I will appreciate if you comment below, and be sure to say hello!
